Wilmington High School opened its facilities for athletes Tuesday after the school being off limits for almost three months.
“It is a step in the right direction,” said Wilmington athletic director Brian Goff. “We are excited to get kids back in here to get them back into shape. They’ve been sitting out for a long time.”
Wilmington is the first to start back up, allowing student athletes use of the weight room and gym. Students will workout on their own following distancing guidelines.
