The Wilmington girls came out with a full court press Friday against Morris and walked away with a 40-32 victory, their second win in a row.
The Lady Wildcats built a 12-0 lead midway through the first quarter and pretty much held their own from there, owning a 23-14 margin at the half.
The Lady ‘Cats (4-8, 1-4 conference) were outscored in the third quarter as the visiting Redskins rallied but the Lady ‘Cats slammed the door, matching the Redskins in the fourth quarter to seal the eight point win.
