WILMINGTON— William P. Haldorson “Bill”, 76 of Wilmington, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2026 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL.
Born Dec. 25, 1949 in Joliet, IL, William Paul was a son of Raymond and Betty (Petersen) Haldorson. He was raised in Elwood, IL and graduated from Joliet East High School with the Class of 1968. Bill attended Joliet Junior College before being selected for military service. He served honorably in the United States Army until his honorable discharge.

WILMINGTON— Robert “Bob” Boris, 71, longtime resident of Wilmington, and formerly of Joliet, IL passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026.
Born on Jan. 9, 1955, in Decatur, IL, Robert was the beloved son of Michael and Mildred (Ashley) Boris. He was raised and educated in Joliet and graduated from Joliet Central High School with the Class of 1973. On Jan. 24, 1976, Bob married the love of his life, Eileen Lukas. Together, they made their home in Wilmington, where they built a life rooted in love, hard work, and family.

WILMINGTON— Angie D. Carr, 88 of Wilmington, went home to be with Jesus on Friday evening, Jan. 9, 2026.
Angie was born on July 18, 1937, in Fayette County near Ramsey, IL. She was a daughter of Ora E. and Elsie M. (Carlock) McCaslin. She was raised and educated in Pana, IL, where she later met the love of her life. On July 24, 1954, Angie married Charles L. Carr in Pana, beginning a devoted marriage rooted in faith, love, and service.

BRAIDWOOD— Herman F. Bormet 90, of Braidwood, IL, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 22, 1935 in Homer Glen Twp., IL to the late Edwin and Martha (nee Bethel) Bormet, Sr. Herman married Joan Blecka on Aug. 11, 1956 and together they shared 68 years of marriage. Herman retired from the Laborer’s Union Local 75. He was a 50-year member and 36 years employed at Vulcan Materials in McCook, IL. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Braidwood and also the Braidwood Recreation Club.

MORRIS— Raymond Edward Testin, passed away at the age of 93, Friday evening, Jan. 9, 2026, at Serenity Estates in Morris. Raymond was born in Minooka, IL, on Oct. 14, 1932, a son of the late Frances (Baltz) and Lawrence Testin. He attended Jones Grade School in Minooka and graduated from Joliet Catholic High School with the class of 1950.

KANKAKEE— Nicole J. “Nikki” Deuschle, 82, of Kankakee passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2026 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee. She was born Jan. 1, 1944 in Joliet, the daughter of Roy & Marguerite (Schutten) Robertson. Nicole married Richard Deuschle on May 14, 1977 in Wilmington. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2001.

DIAMOND—Elizabeth "Betty" Watson, 83, of Diamond, passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2026 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet.
Born March 24, 1942 in Morris, Betty was a daughter of John and Louise (Jacklich) Doyle. She was raised and educated in Coal City and graduated from Coal City High School. On Dec. 26, 1959, Betty married Dennis Watson Sr. at Assumption Catholic Church in Coal City.
