Teen artists on display at Fossil Ridge

The auditorium at the Fossil Ridge Public Library was drenched in local talent over the weekend, as the library hosted the annual Teen Art Show.

A total of 73 local youth provided 252 entries to the contest, in categories from painting to photography to sculpture.

The library hosts the show every spring to showcase local artistic talent.

First place winners this year were: Liz Fetzner, photography; Parker Dransfeldt, computer graphics; Joshua Hayden, colored drawing; Nick Munafo, mixed media; Madison Helsing, painting; Joseph Valle, 3D sculpture; Marisa Soto, ink drawing; Joshua Hayden, ceramics; Laura Tatroe, etching; Laura Marma, graphite.

The winner of Best in Show was Joshua Hayden.
