The Coal City varsity volleyball team split two conference matches this past week, putting them at 3-1 in the Interstate Eight so far.
Last Tuesday, the Lady Coalers picked up a win over Reed-Custer, defeating them 25-16, 26-19.
Coal City (7-9 overall) was led by Brooke Chapman, who set another great match with 15 assists for 54 attempts with no errors. She also had one solo block and six digs.
Katelyn Sisk was the kill leader with eight of her 14 attempts hitting the court. Sisk also added one ace and one solo block.
