One day students in schools across the country will step into their history classes to learn about COVID-19, today’s students are living through it.
Just as the school day ended on Friday, March 13, Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker announced a mandated two-week closure of all Illinois public and private schools effective March 17.
The closure was a move by the governor to increase social distancing aimed at slowing the spread of novel coronavirus, COVID-19, by limiting contact among large groups of people.
