In honor of the 2,753 individuals who died in the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001, three Coal City School High School students paid tribute to the men and women killed in the World Trade Center by recreating the 110 story climb up the towers New York City’s first responders took that day.
Gavin Zeich, and Zander and Gavin Nicola—local fire department cadets—put on their fire gear and climbed up and down stairs at the Coal City High School Stadium on Sunday evening, Sept. 7.
